Tour Plan

Day 1 : Airport – Manavar Temple – Munneswaram Temple – Dambulla Night stay in Dambulla

When you arrive at the airport, our driver will welcome you. First, you will go to Manavar Temple in Chilaw. There is a Shiva Linga here that was installed by Lord Rama himself. Then you will visit Munneswaram Temple. This is where Rama prayed to Shiva after the war. After that, you will drive to Dambulla and check in to your hotel.

Day 2 : Dambulla – Sigiriya – Trincomalee – Dambulla Night stay in Dambulla

After breakfast, you will see the famous Sigiriya Lion Rock. Some people believe this was Ravana's palace. Next, you will drive to Trincomalee on the east coast. You will visit Koneswaram Temple on a cliff. Ravana used to pray here. You will also see the Kanniya Hot Springs. Local people say Ravana made these springs. At the end of the day, you will go back to your hotel in Dambulla.

Day 03 : Dambulla – Matale – Kandy Night stay in Kandy

Today you will drive to Matale. Here you can visit a nice Hindu temple and a Spice Garden. You will see how Sri Lankan spices are grown. Then you will go to Kandy, the cultural capital. In Kandy, you will visit the Temple of the Tooth. This is a very famous Buddhist temple. At night you will stay in Kandy.

Day 04 : Kandy – Nuwara Eliya Night stay in Nuwara Eliya

Today you will drive up into the mountains. The weather will be cool. On the way, you will stop at the Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple in Ramboda. This is where Hanuman rested while searching for Sita. In Nuwara Eliya, you will visit Seetha Amman Temple. This is the exact place where Ravana kept Sita captive. You can also see the Hakgala Gardens, which is believed to be the Ashok Vatika from the Ramayana. You will stay the night in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 05 : Kandy – Nuwara Eliya – Divurumpola – Ella – Bentota Night stay in Bentota

After breakfast, you will leave the hills. First, you will stop at Divurumpola Temple. This is the place where Sita did the fire test (Agni Pariksha) to prove she was pure. Next, you will pass through Ella. You will see the beautiful Ravana Falls and the Ravana Caves. After that, you will drive down to the beach town of Bentota. You can relax at the beach in the evening. Night stay in Bentota.

Day 06 : Kandy – Bentota – Colombo City Tour – Departure

Enjoy a relaxing morning at the beach. Later, you will drive to Colombo, the main city. If you have time, you can visit the Panchamuga Anjaneyar Temple (Hanuman Temple). You can also buy some souvenirs for your family. Finally, our driver will take you to the airport for your flight back home.
