Tour Plan

Day 01 : Airport – Pinnawala – Dambulla Night stay in Dambulla

When you arrive at the airport, our friendly driver will welcome you. You will start your tour right away by driving to Pinnawala. Here you will visit the famous Elephant Orphanage. You will see many elephants, from big adults to tiny babies. They love to play and bathe in the river. It is a happy sight that children and adults both enjoy. After spending time with the elephants, you will drive to Dambulla and check in to your hotel for a good night's rest.

Day 02 : Dambulla – Sigiriya – Matale – Kandy Night stay in Kandy

After breakfast, you will visit the mighty Sigiriya Lion Rock. You can choose to climb to the top. It takes about 30-45 minutes. Up there you will see the remains of an ancient palace and beautiful paintings. The view of the jungle below is amazing. Next, you will drive to Matale to visit a Spice Garden. You will see how cinnamon, cardamom, and other spices grow. You can smell and touch them. Then you will continue to the beautiful city of Kandy. In the evening, you can watch a traditional Kandyan Cultural Dance show with fire dancers and drummers. Overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 03 : Kandy – Nuwara Eliya Night stay in Nuwara Eliya

This morning you will visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy. This is the most important Buddhist temple in Sri Lanka. It is a very peaceful place. After that, you will drive up to the cool mountains of Nuwara Eliya. The drive is very scenic with green hills and waterfalls. Nuwara Eliya is called "Little England" because of its cool weather and old British buildings. You can visit a tea factory to see how Ceylon tea is made and taste a fresh cup. You can also walk around the pretty Gregory Lake. The evening is cool, so wear a light jacket. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 04 : Nuwara Eliya – Train Ride – Ella – Yala – Kataragama Night stay in Kataragama area

Today is a very special day. Early in the morning, you will go to the Nanu Oya railway station to take the famous train ride to Ella. This train journey is known as one of the most beautiful in the world. You will pass through green mountains, cloud forests, and tea plantations. You will see waterfalls right next to the train tracks. In Ella, you will get off the train and visit the famous Nine Arches Bridge, a beautiful bridge made of bricks and rocks. After enjoying Ella, your driver will meet you and take you to Yala National Park. You will go on a jeep safari to see wild animals like leopards, elephants, crocodiles, and many birds. Later, you will visit the holy town of Kataragama. Here you can visit the Kataragama Temple, a place of worship for Hindu, Buddhist, and Muslim people. You will stay overnight in a hotel near Kataragama.

Day 05 : Kataragama – Galle – Bentota Night stay in Bentota

After breakfast, you will drive towards the south coast. Your first stop is the historic city of Galle. Here you will walk through the Galle Fort, a big fort built by the Dutch people about 400 years ago. Inside the fort, you will see old churches, lighthouse, and cute little shops. You can walk on the fort walls and watch the waves crash against the rocks. After exploring Galle, you will continue to the beach town of Bentota. You will check in to your beach hotel and relax. You can take a walk on the soft sand and enjoy the sea breeze in the evening. Overnight stay in Bentota.

Day 06 : Bentota – Airport

Enjoy your final breakfast at the beach hotel. You can take one last swim in the sea or just relax under a coconut tree. Later, our driver will pick you up and drive you to the Bandaranaike International Airport. The drive takes about 2-3 hours. You will reach the airport in time for your flight back home.
